The third and final giveaway to celebrate our 4th year of blogging is again, an item I use every. single. day.
Growing up, I don't remember seeing my nan or mom without a book in their hands. My mom is STILL going through all of the books in Nan's house, 10 months after she passed.
I inherited that bookworm gene, and I love to read everything. From British classics to the latest fad (Yes, I have read all three 50 Shades of Grey books), I am never far from a story.
We are both a Nook and Kindle household, but when I decided to buy an e-reader to give to one of you, I decided a Nook was the better option because so many libraries around the United States now offer downloads for the Nook, but not as many for the Kindle.
Cookbooks, romance novels, magazines - you name it, you can get it on this little baby. It's also small enough to fit in your back pocket, but the screen is big enough to read comfortably.
My mom's favorite feature of her Nook is being able to change the font size so that she no longer needs her reading glasses. My favorite feature is having thousands of books in the back of my pocket, whenever I want. It really makes flying home a treat rather than a chore.
I want to say again, to the community of friends that read Bluebonnets & Brownies - thank you, from the bottom of my heart for reading what I write. Words of gratitude don't seem like nearly enough to explain the joy each of you bring me, but they are what I have.

My favorite thing to do is read. I go through about 3 books a week usually. I'll read any genre, but my favorite is mysteries.

I am not very good at picking favorites, but I have always been a fan of John Irving's novels.
I love to read autobiographical stories... especially if they have a comedic spin. One of my all-time favorite authors is David Sedaris. 🙂

I would absolutely consider myself an avid book reader - I am always reading something, whether a new release or re-reading a classic. I think I would very much enjoy having a Nook!

Young Adult books are my guilty pleasure. I just finished reading the newest book in the Mortal Instruments series.
There is nothing like a good book and a good cup of coffee. I like all types of books....lately with 3 kids....the books I read have many pictures and few words. I would love to get some books for me....50 Shades of Grey.
