The third and final giveaway to celebrate our 4th year of blogging is again, an item I use every. single. day.

Growing up, I don't remember seeing my nan or mom without a book in their hands. My mom is STILL going through all of the books in Nan's house, 10 months after she passed.

I inherited that bookworm gene, and I love to read everything. From British classics to the latest fad (Yes, I have read all three 50 Shades of Grey books), I am never far from a story.

We are both a Nook and Kindle household, but when I decided to buy an e-reader to give to one of you, I decided a Nook was the better option because so many libraries around the United States now offer downloads for the Nook, but not as many for the Kindle.

Cookbooks, romance novels, magazines - you name it, you can get it on this little baby. It's also small enough to fit in your back pocket, but the screen is big enough to read comfortably.

My mom's favorite feature of her Nook is being able to change the font size so that she no longer needs her reading glasses. My favorite feature is having thousands of books in the back of my pocket, whenever I want. It really makes flying home a treat rather than a chore.

I want to say again, to the community of friends that read Bluebonnets & Brownies - thank you, from the bottom of my heart for reading what I write. Words of gratitude don't seem like nearly enough to explain the joy each of you bring me, but they are what I have.

Thank you, thank you, thank YOU. For reading. For commenting. For making the recipes and telling me whether you love or hate them. It all means the world to me.

    4. I am a bookworm too. I can still remember getting into trouble when my grandma caught me reading in bed after midnight (via a flashlight) when I was about 7 because I just had to read one more page.

    9. I've been reading mostly technical books for my job for the longest time. I need to get back to reading more fiction for pleasure. I usually like mystery and science fiction.

    11. I just read two decent books - not a bad start to my summer reading frenzy. One I finished today was a romance novel called "Delicacy" by David Foenkinos. The other, "Angelina's Bachelors" by Brian O'Reilly is described as "A Novel with Food". I loved this one as the story was intertwined with recipes created by the author's wife. Interesting to note is that the author is also the creator and executive producer of Food Network's Dinner: Impossible. I did not know this until I was finished reading the book. I'd 100% recommend Angelina's Bachelor's as a sweet love story, especially if you love food!
