The third and final giveaway to celebrate our 4th year of blogging is again, an item I use every. single. day.

Growing up, I don't remember seeing my nan or mom without a book in their hands. My mom is STILL going through all of the books in Nan's house, 10 months after she passed.

I inherited that bookworm gene, and I love to read everything. From British classics to the latest fad (Yes, I have read all three 50 Shades of Grey books), I am never far from a story.

We are both a Nook and Kindle household, but when I decided to buy an e-reader to give to one of you, I decided a Nook was the better option because so many libraries around the United States now offer downloads for the Nook, but not as many for the Kindle.

Cookbooks, romance novels, magazines - you name it, you can get it on this little baby. It's also small enough to fit in your back pocket, but the screen is big enough to read comfortably.

My mom's favorite feature of her Nook is being able to change the font size so that she no longer needs her reading glasses. My favorite feature is having thousands of books in the back of my pocket, whenever I want. It really makes flying home a treat rather than a chore.

I want to say again, to the community of friends that read Bluebonnets & Brownies - thank you, from the bottom of my heart for reading what I write. Words of gratitude don't seem like nearly enough to explain the joy each of you bring me, but they are what I have.

Thank you, thank you, thank YOU. For reading. For commenting. For making the recipes and telling me whether you love or hate them. It all means the world to me.

    9. I love reading. I don't ever remember not reading. I always have @ least 2 books going @ a time. I didn't think I would like Nooks or Kindles but found the Kindle app on my iPhone came in handy while we were traveling recently so I've decided while I'll never give up books, there's definately room for that. The Kindle app is small however, so surprisingly I find my self wanting a Nook. My son compared both, read Consumer Reports & decided on a Nook, so I think winning one would be perfect.

    10. Love this! I don't have a favorite book, but I'm currently reading Insugent...yes, a teen book. lol

    12. Favorite book? Hard to pin down, but something by Heinlein because he's the one that started me reading. If I have to pick one book, it would be Starship Troopers because it started shaping my political beliefs. (and no, I'm not a fascist warmonger)
